Wood Design is a furniture store online and blog devoted to policy makers and the materials behind the contemporary and sustainable furniture and accessory designs. Looking to create more interesting and varied, unique space around the material online, we curate a growing list of established and emerging designers and provide a platform for creative, unique and often exclusive pieces. We seek to identify and demonstrate the contemporary North American expertise today and evolve our diversity, price and coverage to open new markets for independent manufacturers, with which we work.
From the idea of featuring furniture makers, artists, designers and architects to highlight the stories of contemporary design elements as well as manufacturers to work with it. What we found a table inspired by people and drawings at the forefront of craft today. As we have come to know some of them we started to assemble a North American independent furniture manufacturers group to create an online store, unlike anything else available online or on the street. Beyond simply aesthetic, that we strive to create personality and authenticity in all that we do to offer an experience as unique as the stories tell us every day.
