Space winner Laura Stein gold interior is a beautiful master bedroom of Leaside designed for homeowners with an appreciation of the finer things. While the rest of their house was a gallery of treasures, their bedroom main had fallen into a State of neglect and was in dire need of an upgrade. With a mandate for the discreet luxury, Laura Stein Interiors has transformed the room an old-fashioned and cluttered in a flooded area of light with luxurious linens, a hint of glamour, a touch of masculinity and a place to expire at the end of the day.

To make the most of the L-shaped piece, a floor plan was designed to integrate lounge library-like with a TV on an articulated arm and lots of storage near the door. The bed was placed under the window to take advantage of the light of the morning sun. "The owners wanted a space cosy and romantic with a lot of womanly gentleness but enough masculinity to keep the feeling of space to the Earth," adds Stein. The carpet has been replaced with hard wood, panels and mouldings were added and luxurious fabrics in an airy palette and were set against pure furniture and deep, rich wood tones.

In the lounge, a feeling pleasant library was created around a sofa in linen, a large pouf tufte and a library built to display perfectly of the couple discovered travel, photos and collection of literature. The colorful books and art add an unexpected pop to the palette soft hot metal and wood. "Special attention was given custom retailer and luxurious finishes," said Stein. "The contrasting back, the gusset and the trim applied to the hand of the cushions, for example, connect the color palette of the two sides of the coin to create an overall feeling of comfort."

A comfortable and romantic retreat house of the masters became the room most used in the House. Architectural details, hot palette, luxurious fabrics and eclectic mix of lighting, art and accessories make the room what the owners call their "perfect little jewel box".
