ShowroomFinder Announces “My Favorite Store” Facebook Sweepstakes

ShowroomFinder.com, the leading online directory for local consignment, antique, vintage and resale stores, announces the “My Favorite Store” sweepstakes to promote its member’s unique consignment, antique, vintage and resale stores. The winner of the “My Favorite Store” sweepstakes will receive a $200 gift certificate to any store of their choice that is listed on ShowroomFinder.com.

To enter, participants will Like the ShowroomFinder page on Facebook and enter their name. One lucky winner will receive a $200 gift card to be used at any store on ShowroomFinder that the winner selects. “ShowroomFinder is an exciting way for shoppers to find unique, one-of-a-kind stores and merchandise in their own town,” says Russell Droullard, director of marketing. “We want people to discover these incredibly diverse stores in their own neighborhood, and to share their finds with others. We think this promotion is a great way to do just that.”

ShowroomFinder taps into today’s lifestyle trends, including bargain shopping, re-using and recycling merchandise, and collecting vintage and heirloom accessories. To promote local businesses that are in synch with these trends, ShowroomFinder limits its membership to only those stores with a physical “brick and mortar” retail presence. Russell Droullard explains, “We respect the unique challenges a small business owner faces with their retail store. So we exclusively promote these retail businesses, because we believe that the best shopping experience for consigned, vintage and antique merchandise is to see and touch it in person.”

The “My Favorite Store” sweepstakes is open to anyone 18 or older and a resident of the United States. No purchase is necessary. The sweepstakes ends December 15, 2012, midnight PST. One winner will be randomly selected from the Facebook entries by December 20.

Stroud's Time After Time Vintage Store Set To Open at 12.12 on Wednesday the 12th of December 2012

Time After Time has just entered its fifth year of trading. Quite a feat in these difficult times. But there's more. Time After Time has just doubled in size, adding an extra floor that was always there but never used. Now there will be two floors of the most fabulous vintage fashion you'll find anywhere. for both women and men.

Partner Dave Ireland: 'We're in the throes of dressing the upper floor for opening and completion is imminent, so we thought we'd make the opening date as memorable as possible. We're a small shop in a small town, but we're known far and wide, so the date had to be something special.' While the lower floor has been described by customers as an 'Aladdin's Cave' the upper floor will have the wow factor too. Blood red chandeliers, red rugs, jet black floors and white walls. And a tented ceiling.

The decorating team have been working around the clock to get things ready for the big day and all the work has been worth it.  The upper floor will house the Gentleman's Department, plus hats, shoes and bags. And of course the ever changing display of glamorous evening wear that Time After Time are known for.

Dave: 'We're not in London. Our prices are realistic. We begin with lucky dips for one pound and charge a little more for a Prada tote bag or a Chanel twin set.' For those of you who are not lucky enough to be able to visit Time After Time or Stroud in person, there is a wonderful website with even a few pieces for sale on-line.

And in the future there are many new plans. A miniature Wedding Fair in the spring, a Valentine's Week, Sunday Coffee Concerts and so much more. The Time After Time After Time Evenings (imagine a bunch of girls trying everything on after the shop has closed to the public, accompanied by Champagne and canapés and you'll be close).are legendary in The Cotswolds.
